The Blue Jay boys golf team didn’t disappoint on its home golf course on Friday. Jamestown posted its best team finish of the season, rifling off a score of 316 — second to only Bismarck Century’s 312 — during the Jamestown High School Invitational at Jamestown Country Club.

The Stutsman County Commission continued Tuesday to discuss its crew camp ordinance and the possibility of having a crew camp in the county. “This isn’t an invitation from the County Commission to recruit camps of any type,” said Mark Klose, commission chairman. “The reason we wanted this is because we do not have any (ordinance) and if we don’t have anything, they can be set up anywhere.”

Timm has more than 25 years of banking experience. June H. Knudson, 100, Jamestown, ND died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown. June Frederickson was born June 30, 1912 at Kensal, ND, the daughter of Sophus and Christine (Hansen) Frederickson. There were 14 children, five boys and nine girls. She attended Kensal Public School graduating from high school in 1931. She entered nurses training at Mercy Hospital in Valley City, ND.
