This $2.5 million state-of-the-art online system will automatically calculate overweight and oversized vehicle routes and fees, saving travel time for the motor carrier industry and providing safer routes.

N.D. ad agency sues creators of Cartoon Network show
A North Dakota advertising agency is suing the creators of a Cartoon Network show, alleging that they copied a state marketing campaign. H2M, a Fargo-based advertising and marketing agency, filed the lawsuit against Dane Boedigheimer and Spencer Grove in U.S. District Court in North Dakota on Monday. Boedigheimer and Grove are the creators of the animated series “Annoying Orange.”

Laurits Peter Nelson
Laurits “Pete” Nelson, 60, succumbed to cancer, died in his home on Monday, May 20, 2013. L. Peter Nelson was born on April 4, 1953, in Jamestown, ND, son of June C (Baird) and Clarence P. “Howdy” Nelson. He attended school in Edgeley graduating from Edgeley High School with the Class of 1971. Pete entered the US Air Force in September 1971 and served until December 1974 when he was honorably discharged.

A visitation with a public viewing will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Bride Colonial Chapel, 110 East Spring Street, Manly, Iowa and will continue one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Friday.
