The unexpected death of a student has left members of the Jamestown College community shocked and saddened. Josh Berg, 24, a mass communications major at JC, died Feb. 16 of a pulmonary embolism caused by a blood clot. He would have graduated this spring.

The Blue Jay locomotive continued Friday night in Bismarck, where Kyra Dewald exploded for 37 points as No. 4 Jamestown downed No. 5 Bismarck High 83-77 in West Region action. The win gave the Jays a season sweep of Bismarck, the preseason No. 1 in the state.
