The regular meeting of the Jamestown Lions Club was called to order Dec. 6 at the Buffalo City Rotisserie Grill by President Shelley Nannenga. Medina auxiliary collects items for NDVH residents
A recent project of the Medina American Legion Auxiliary Unit #245 was the collection of personal care items and winter outer wear for the residents of the North Dakota Veterans Home at Lisbon. Several bags filled with donated items such as coats, scarves, caps, gloves, hand soap, body wash, toothpaste, mouth wash, shampoo, lotion, and hand sanitizer were delivered to the Veterans Home by a group of Medina Legionnaires and Auxiliary members.

FCUCC presents ‘Luke’s Nativity’
First Congregational United Church of Christ in Jamestown and Zion Congregational United Church of Christ in Medina are presenting special performances of “Luke’s Nativity” during Advent and Christmas this year. Members of the Stutsman County Area Retired Teachers Association traveled to Medina, N.D., on Oct. 23 to attend a Smithsonian Institute exhibit on the history of agriculture and food in North Dakota. SCARTA member Janet Well welcomed the group to the Medina Cafe where members dined on tacos and knoephla soup. Following lunch they walked to the Medina City Hall to observe the exhibit.
