Charges filed in alleged rape
A Fargo man accused of rape Saturday allegedly grabbed a 16-year-old girl by the wrist and forced himself on her outside a local business center, according to a police report filed today with the criminal charges. Bashir Abdi Noor, 26, is charged with gross sexual imposition, a Class AA felony. If convicted, Noor would face a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years in prison and registration as a sex offender.
