All spring sports are getting the shaft this season due to the extended winter weather. Among the teams hit hardest is the Blue Jay girls tennis squad. Coach Pat Mullowney’s team will play its first match Thursday in Bismarck, which is April 25. The West Region meet will be held May 16-18. That gives the Blue Jays 19 days to play a season.
