Doing good things: JHS girls hockey team continues Relay fundraising
Playing a high-caliber brand of girls hockey over the past four years won’t be the only thing the Blue Jays will be remembered for. The Jays, along with departing coach Brad Schaack, have also had a penchant for philanthropy during that time. Each of the past four springs, the girls — with the support of the Jamestown community — have come together to help raise money for cancer research as a part of the team’s participation in the annual Stutsman County Relay for Life.
