Tough start for JC men, women fare well
Slow starts were a problem for the Jimmie men’s golf team during the fall half of the season. That issue carried over to the spring, but it’s hardly their fault. Due to the endless winter weather, the JC golf teams never did get in a meet prior to the A.I.I. conference championship in Victoria, Texas, which started Monday. Not surprisingly, the Jimmie men got off to a tough start before a downpour washed out the second half of the opening round.
