Juveniles referred in vandalism, fire cases
Eleven juveniles have been referred to juvenile authorities in separate vandalism and fire cases, according to the Jamestown Police Department. Detective Sgt. Leroy Gross said seven teenagers were referred to juvenile court for allegedly vandalizing a Jamestown building for more than a month.

The amateur baseball season is in full swing. The first of a handful of tournaments to be played in Jamestown this season is set for this weekend with the Buffalo City Classic. Six pool-play games will be played Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m., with placing games on Sunday.
