County continues discussion of crew camp ordinance
The Stutsman County Commission continued Tuesday to discuss its crew camp ordinance and the possibility of having a crew camp in the county. “This isn’t an invitation from the County Commission to recruit camps of any type,” said Mark Klose, commission chairman. “The reason we wanted this is because we do not have any (ordinance) and if we don’t have anything, they can be set up anywhere.”

Unison Bank has announced the following staff changes: Rory Timm has been hired as vice president business banking. He will be working with agriculture and commercial customers. Timm has more than 25 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Unison, he worked at State Bank of Fargo, now Bell State Bank, Security State Bank of Carrington, now Bank Forward, and at Home Federal Bank, Aberdeen, S.D. He is a graduate of Kensal (N.D.) High School, attended University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and is a graduate of Dakota School of Banking and Colorado School of Banking.

June H. Knudson, 100, Jamestown, ND died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown. June Frederickson was born June 30, 1912 at Kensal, ND, the daughter of Sophus and Christine (Hansen) Frederickson. There were 14 children, five boys and nine girls. She attended Kensal Public School graduating from high school in 1931. She entered nurses training at Mercy Hospital in Valley City, ND.
