All that happy talk about Phil Mickelson becoming part owner of his hometown San Diego Padres was just that — talk. Mickelson will not be involved with the group that bought the Padres in August, his spokesman, T.R. Reinman, told The Associated Press on Tuesday night.

Central Valley Health District has been leading a multi-agency effort to create a community health assessment (CHA) and a community health improvement plan (CHIP) for almost a year, and the process is finally complete.

Clayton Brown
Clayton E. Brown, rural Nevis MN, died December 10, 2012 at his home, after a short fight with cancer. Clayton was born August 5, 1941 to Henrietta (Koppleman) and Harvey Brown in Duluth, MN. Clayton was raised in Jamestown, ND and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1959. He joined the U.S. Army in October 1959 and served 3 years in the artillery, mostly in Germany.
