Joseph C. Grimes, 92, of Jamestown, ND, died Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown. Joseph Clinton Grimes was born May 18, 1920, in Williston, ND, the son of Joseph James and Catherine Josephine (French) Grimes. He attended grammar school in Williston, moving with his family to Jamestown when he was 10 years old. He graduated from St. John’s Academy in 1938.

Man sentenced on meth charges
A Kathryn, N.D., man was sentenced to 13 months in prison on drug charges in Southeast District Court Tuesday. Peter James Koble, 45, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia used with drugs other than marijuana. The possession of methamphetamines charge is a Class A felony and the possession of drug paraphernalia charge is a Class C felony.
