Marjorie Ann Beyer was born October 6, 1947 in Jamestown, ND, the daughter of Lawrence and Elsie (Brimer) Beyer. She was raised on a farm by Dickey, ND, where she attended Saratoga Country School and then she went to Dickey School. After awhile they moved to a farm by Montpelier, ND, where she graduated from high school in 1965.
