Rudolph Neumiller
Rudolph “Rudy” Neumiller was born on a farm near Box Elder, Montana, on June 26, 1917, to Christ Neumiller and Mathilda (Morlock) Neumiller. He died at the age of 95 on December 3, 2012, in Carrington, North Dakota. His parents returned to North Dakota the same year Rudy was born, and farmed in the Heaton and Sykeston area.

AT&T helps provide food baskets
AT&T said Tuesday that it has given the Great Plains Food Bank, a program of Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota, a $5,000 AT&T Cares contribution to build holiday food baskets for families in need in communities. AT&T volunteers worked with the Great Plains Food Bank and local officials to assemble the food baskets Tuesday at the Great Plains Food Bank in Fargo. The project will provide approximately 400 dinners for families this holiday season.

Leonard Walter Rude, 94, Jamestown, ND died Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Eventide at Hi-Acres in Jamestown. Leonard was born May 25, 1918 in Ludlow, South Dakota, the son of Esten K. and Inga (Johnson) Rude. When he was four years old the family moved to Pingree, ND, and then to Buchanan where they farmed.

On Thursday evening, 24 employers were meeting with potential job seekers at the Reiland Fine Arts Center on the campus of Jamestown College. Employment opportunities ranging from part-time to new careers were available in everything from information technologies to agriculture.
