Bottineau tops JHS in shootout
In its inaugural season, the state’s new shootout format in high school hockey favored the boys of Bottineau-Rugby in Jamestown on Friday night. Tied 4-4 at the end of the eight-minute overtime, Jamestown’s Brady Anderson and Jake Stilwell were both denied by the Braves’ senior goalkeeper Cody Brooks. But the Braves’ Harrison Aide and Logan Millican teamed up to send a pair of goals past Jamestown keeper Tygh Yatskis, handing the Braves a 5-4 shootout victory over the Jays at Wilson Arena.
