The New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets hung tough with the No. 1-ranked Class B boys’ basketball team for three quarters in New Rockford on Tuesday night. But in the end it was Jacob Hagler’s 36 points for North Star that lifted the Bearcats past the Rockets 71-58. Hagler scored 13 of his 36 in the first period, and he scored another 13 in the final frame.
