Katherina Busche
Katherina Rienstra was born September 21, 1928 in Westfield, ND. She was the daughter of Jacob and Colbie (Wolvendyke) Rienstra. Katherina worked at the Valley City hospital in her younger years. She married Eldred Busche January 28, 1948. They farmed southeast of Marion. Katherina loved to garden and bake. As a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Griswold Township, she was active as a Sunday school teacher and was a member of Mary Circle, where she enjoyed quilting.
