In the recent Forum Communications poll, 56 percent of those intending to vote on June 12 indicated they would vote yes on Measure No. 4 to retire the Fighting Sioux logo while 44 percent said that they intended to vote no to keep the logo.

Former West Virginia football coach Bill Stewart, who was hailed as Rich Rodriguez’s successor but wound up leaving the school in a messy split, died Monday of what athletic department officials said was an apparent heart attack. He was 59.
