The Carrington Cardinals got off to a bit of a slow start, and they were never able to fully recover during the championship game of the District 7 tournament at the Devils Lake Sports Center on Tuesday night. Zane Braun faced his own style in the semifinals of the Class A state wrestling tournament on Friday at the Fargodome. Jamestown’s 152-pound senior took care of business, pinning Mandan’s Adam Stein in 2 minutes, 37 seconds to advance to the finals for the second straight year.
