John Charles Gardner, Jr. died on January 3, 2013, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, after a brief illness, with his loving family at his side. John was born March 22, 1961 in Rolla, North Dakota to Judith Wagner (MacKinnon) and John C. Gardner Sr. (Jack). The family moved to Jamestown when John was three and he was raised in Jamestown having attended school through Jamestown Public Schools.
