North Dakota is promoting its business climate at Minnesota’s expense, and some politicians east of the Red River are not happy about it.
The Greater North Dakota Chamber has started a campaign that mocks proposals in the Minnesota Legislature, including bills that would raise certain taxes. A chamber release said Minnesota politicians are “making a strong case for business to come across the border to North Dakota.”

Play time began about 3:30 p.m. Friday when West Acres opened the doors to its new Recess West recreational area.
The indoor playground caters to younger children — a sign on the door bars youngsters taller than 42 inches — and is designed to give kids access to physical activity at all times of the year.

Innovate ND is hosting a series of “Boot Camps” across the state of North Dakota. The entrepreneurial journey continues April 13 in Bismarck at Bismarck State College National Energy Center of Excellence in room 335 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a Department of Defense operational committee, announced nine North Dakota Guard and Reserve members nominated their employers for the 2013 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award.

AT&T invested more than $50 million in its North Dakota wireless and wired networks from 2010 through 2012, with a focus on expanding 4G mobile Internet coverage and enhancing the overall performance of its networks.
The North Dakota and Minnesota Government Procurement Fair will from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 12 at the Holiday Inn in Fargo. It will help area manufacturers, food processors, contractors, business services and others gain information on selling successfully to state and federal government entities.
