Founding Farmers, a North Dakota Farmers Union restaurant, is the most booked restaurant in Washington, D.C., according to OpenTable Reservations D.C. Farmers & Fishers makes the list at No. 8. In November 2009, MeritCare merged with Sanford Health, becoming the largest not-for-profit rural health care system in the nation.
On July 20, MeritCare Clinic Jamestown became Sanford Clinic Jamestown, according to Director Jo Heisler, who said much has been done in the past nine months to make this change.

Chamber plans training seminar 
The Jamestown Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a training seminar, “It’s About Time: Stress and the Clock” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 19. The training is presented by Annie Kirschenmann of Simple Stress Solutions. The cost, which includes lunch, is $29 per person for chamber members and $39 per person for non-chamber members.
