Census: Stutsman County gained population 
Stutsman County is one of 20 counties in North Dakota showing an increase in population between 2008 and 2009 according to estimates made by the U.S. Census Bureau, according to Richard Rathge, director of the North Dakota State Data Center.

County’s agriculture land values to increase 
The Stutsman County Commission was informed at its regular February meeting Tuesday the average value of agricultural land will go up about 14 percent for next tax year, according to Noel Johnson, chief operating officer and tax director for the county.
