Phoenix at odds with church feeding needy
On Saturday mornings, crowds of homeless gather with other needy people at picnic tables outside a church in an upscale Phoenix neighborhood, listen to sermons and settle in for sausage, pancakes and scrambled eggs. Lutheran CORE leaders propose new church body 
Leaders of Lutheran CORE released a proposal for the reconfiguration of Lutheranism in North America on Feb. 18. The proposal calls for the continuation of Lutheran CORE as “a community of confessing Lutherans” and for the formation of the North American Lutheran Church, a new Lutheran church body.

I just found this item (LINK HERE) through FARK.com, but I'm posting it here because it's really worth reading. It's a Q&A for religious leaders for dealing with the news media, but it really could be helpful to anyone who has to talk to a reporter. Oh, and here's the comments thread
