They don’t know that their kitchen floor, once a mix of carpet, linoleum and uneven gaps, is now a level surface covered in vinyl hardwood. They don’t know their walls are covered with textured Sheetrock of off-white color. And — spoiler alert! — they don’t know about the special surprises like the tile shower in the master bath and granite countertops in the kitchen.

The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Agriculture & Energy Committee is holding its annual Ag Week Luncheon at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shady’s, located at 111 Second St. N.E. in the Gladstone Inn and Suites. The Jamestown Regional Airport Authority heard a report on progress toward securing financing for a new terminal project during its regular meeting Wednesday. Preliminary plans for the $1.8 million project were presented to the board at the February meeting.

Reports are being submitted to the Stutsman County State’s Attorney’s Office regarding a February arson fire at S&R Truck Plaza. A news brief on page A1 in Wednesday’s Sun incorrectly said the reports were being submitted to the North Dakota Attorney General’s Office.
