Aftermath of tornado shows community kindness

A recent tornado near Bowbells was a deadly reminder of the power of Mother Nature. The storm ripped through the Dennis Bauer farm, wrecking everything in sight, including Bauer’s home, a number of buildings, vehicles, farm equipment and anything else in its path. Bauer survived by finding a safe place in the basement of his home, which was severely damaged by the storm. One man was killed and another man injured when the vehicle they were riding in was destroyed by the tornado.
