NASCAR: Busch wins again at Atlanta after 2 crashes
Kurt Busch was running out front with three laps to go when things really got interesting.
First, a frightening crash that seemed intentional between two feuding drivers.
Then, another spinning, slamming melee before the white flag came out.
“We’ve got to win this race three times, maybe even four times,” a frustrated Busch said on his radio.

McMurray prevails in long day at Daytona 
Jamie McMurray’s heart sank when he saw Dale Earnhardt Jr. lurking in his rearview mirror. Of all the guys bearing down on me, he thought, it has be one who seems to destined to win the Daytona 500.
Then McMurray looked up at the finish line. I don’t think he can beat me to it, he thought.
Turns out McMurray was right. Just barely.

The IndyCar star will drive the No. 7 Chevrolet for JR Motorsports in Saturday’s second-tier Nationwide Series race.

Danica Patrick received all kinds of advice during her lengthy flirtation with NASCAR. Some encouraged her to give it a try, while others openly wondered why IndyCar’s biggest star would open herself up to such scrutiny.
Now that she’s officially a part-time NASCAR driver — she announced a two-year deal Tuesday to drive for the second-tier Nationwide Series team owned by Rick Hendrick and Dale Earnhardt Jr. — how will she be received?
“I expect her to be eaten up by the wolves,” said Kelley Earnhardt, general manager of JR Motorsports.

Hendrick trying to fix Earnhardt’s team
Getting Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s team back on track is Rick Hendrick’s top priority now that Jimmie Johnson has his record fourth consecutive NASCAR championship.
“We’re all over it, and we’ve been all over it,” Hendrick said Tuesday in a conference call. “It’s my primary focus here, starting Monday.”
