Jamestown College rallied late in the opener and St. Francis (Ill.) turned the tables in Game 2 as they split a twinbill on Tuesday in Ormond Beach, Fla. Tied 3-all into the bottom of the seventh in Game 1, the Jimmies got a game-winning single from Jeremy Newman to win 4-3. They led 6-5 after 4 1/2 innings in the nightcap, but St. Francis exploded for 11 runs in the bottom of the fifth to end it early 16-6 and get the split.March 10, 2010

Jeremy Newman clubbed a grand slam in Game 1 and Alex Kreis was dominant on the mound again in the second game as the Jimmies opened with a sweep of Marion (Ind.) on Sunday in Ormond Beach, Fla. The Jimmies scored all 9 of their runs in the first 3 innings. Newman's grand slam gave them a quick 4-1
