The women’s golfers at North Dakota State say they’re often pegged as members of a winter sports team, given the fact that most of them are measured in the 5-foot-10 range and look like they haven’t seen the sun. Turns out they haven’t.

Almost $32 million has been raised for the Bison Sports Arena renovation on the North Dakota State campus. If fundraising were compared to a marathon, it has completed 26 miles, but the last 385 yards has been a laborious process where every detail is being examined like a detective solving a felony.
Just like in early January, the snow is still on the ground and North Dakota State is playing football. Wasn’t it just a few days ago the Bison were playing for the national championship in Frisco, Texas?
It didn’t take long before the college football vultures began circling over the North Dakota State football program. When Montana State exercised a buyout last month for next September’s game at the Fargodome, Bison athletic director Gene Taylor said a few schools tried to take advantage.
