The Navy has canceled remaining 2013 performances of the Blue Angels because of federal budget cuts, meaning the elite aerial demonstration team will not be headlining this year's Fargo AirSho as planned.
Torri Kamlitz scored the first and last goals, while Amber Schaack and Steph Kamlitz also tallied as Jamestown advanced to the semifinals of the state hockey tournament for the first time in school history with a 4-2 win over Fargo South-Davies on Thursday at Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks.
Just two outs from a spot in the semifinals on Thursday night, instead the Jamestown High School baseball team was on the way home Friday after a disappointing end to the season at the West Region tournament in Williston.
