People may not notice it at first glance but the Stutsman County Memorial Museum is currently undergoing a facelift.
All of the mortar between the outside bricks is being reconstructed in a process called tuck pointing. Officials believe it’s the first time the whole building has undergone this type of renovation in the more than 100 years the building has existed.
WIMBLEDON, N.D. — After five years of restoration work, the Midland Continental Railroad Depot Transportation Museum here was revealed to the public Saturday with a grand opening full of entertainment and spectacle.
The Stutsman County Memorial Museum’s regular monthly meeting is at 7 p.m. Monday at the James River Senior and Community Center, 502 10th Ave. SE. The public is welcome to attend. For more information, call Harold Sahr at 952-0768.
