Blood drive draws 38 donors
A total of 38 people volunteered to donate blood and 33 were able to give during Anne Carlsen Center’s Jan. 22 blood drive. Six people gave blood on the automated 2RBC machine which collects two units of red blood cells during the donation, so a total of 39 products were collected.February 16, 2010

Kunzman speaks on ACC at Kiwanis
Pam Kunzman introduced Dan Kunzman who showed slides and spoke about the services provided by the Anne Carlsen Center at the Dec. 28 noon Kiwanis meeting in the Lantern Room. Kunzman is the executive director of the Anne Carlsen Center Foundation and has been here about 1 1/2 years. He said the ACC employs 364 people and about 290 of them are full time. Many people are surprised that the ACC has a K-12 school that is fully accredited the same as other schools in North Dakota. It is also a hospital with 54 beds and about half of the residents are medically fragile.January 05, 2010
Face to Face raises funds for ACC
An art show and silent auction at Face to Face for Wellness & Beauty raised nearly $370 for the Anne Carlsen Center. Beginning in October, the salon invited people to submit their photographs, paintings, sculptures, and other artwork in the contest. The pieces were displayed at the salon, 607 13th St. N.E., and were voted on by community members, until Dec.10. That evening, Face to Face hosted a holiday party, during which attendees could participate in a silent auction and bid on their favorite works of art.December 30, 2009
Carlsen Center sets New Year’s Eve Gala
The Anne Carlsen Center is now accepting reservations for its seventh annual New Year’s Eve Gala. The event helps raise money for medical equipment that will benefit the center’s most medically-fragile students. “The gala is an event that is highly anticipated by people who have participated in the past,” said ACC Foundation Executive Director Dan Kunzman. “The menu is unique and outstanding. And who doesn’t want to dance the night away on New Year’s Eve?”December 17, 2009

ACC fundraising for chaplaincy program
The Anne Carlsen Center is raising money for its Chaplaincy Care Program and donors are willing to match all donations to a cumulative total of $30,000. The $30,000 Matching Challenge Fund is the largest fundraiser the ACC has ever conducted for the chaplaincy program.
