School Board moves ahead on pool baffles
The Jamestown Public School Board voted to move forward with plans to install baffle pads at the Jamestown High School swimming pool. In a 6-3 vote with School Board members Gary Peterson, Greg Allen and Gail Martin opposing, the School Board moved to require its consultant, Fargo-based Zerr Berg Architects, to propose a noise abatement solution for the JHS pool.October 20, 2009

School Board picks Larson
The Jamestown Public School Board selected a new member to fill an upcoming board vacancy at a special meeting Tuesday. In a 5-3-1 vote, the School Board selected Heidi Larson, Jamestown, to fill Ann Hoggarth’s position. Larson is a chiropractor at Schmidt Chiropractic in Jamestown. She also is an adjunct professor of communications at Jamestown College. Larson’s three children attend St. John’s Academy.August 26, 2009
