The Wellness Challenge this week is to wear your safety belt (100 percent of the time) in your vehicle and require appropriate safety restraints for all of your passengers. The participants can gain two points per day for this challenge.
The Putnam House in Carrington, N.D., is again challenging people of all ages to participate in a photo challenge titled “Winter Wonderland.”
While the photo art exhibit will not be on display until the heat takes over this summer, it’s time to get out those cameras and immortalize the winter scenery. As the winter has been quite unusual with the amount of snow, it’s fitting to send out the call for winter-themed photos.
The second annual New Year, New You Fitness Challenge begins today and about 40 businesses are participating.
The challenge’s goal is to help people incorporate healthier food and lifestyle choices into their lives. We think it’s a good program and are glad to see more participating.
Put on your workout gear, buy your fruits and veggies and get ready to get healthy because the New Year, New You Fitness Challenge 2009 is here. This work site wellness challenge, which starts on Wednesday, is available to all businesses in the Jamestown area.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol has received a first-place award in the International Association of Chiefs of Police law enforcement challenge competition.
The patrol was the winner in the state police bracket that is comprised of agencies with up to 250 officers.
The New Year, New You Challenge is off to a great start! There are 26 businesses participating making up 118 teams of four or more members. Although a few stragglers are still joining, there are currently 703 participants in the Fitness Challenge. I am so impressed with the Jamestown community – you have really risen to the Challenge!
