Ostlie beats own IM record, Marler notches other region title for Blue Jays
Landon Ostlie lowered his own school record in the 200 individual medley to lead the Blue Jay swimmers and divers at the West Region meet on Saturday in Mandan. Ostlie’s time of 2:03.48 beat his previous best of 2:04.99 as the junior standout won the event and placed second in the 100 butterfly as Jamestown placed fourth of out six teams with 245 points.March 01, 2010

The Jamestown High School girls’ swimming and diving team and the boys’ and girls’ cross country teams have each received the North Dakota High School Activities Association Team Scholar Award. Teams must maintain a grade point average of 3.2 to qualify for the award.January 05, 2010

Blue Jays go 1-3 in duals
The Blue Jays went 1-3 in duals on Friday in Bismarck. Highlighted by a 1-2-3 finish on the diving board and a 1-3 in the backstroke, the Jays defeated Bismarck handily 119-61 and had competitive losses to Century (96-89), Grand Forks Central (103-82) and Grand Forks Red River (96-89).By Sun Staff , September 22, 2009

Erin Hart picked up a pair of second-place finishes and Kaitlin Walsh had another good day on the diving board to lead Jamestown at the Spartan Invite on Saturday at Fargo North High pool. Jays win six events
Willy Marler and Landon Ostlie each went 4-for-4 on Saturday to lead Jamestown in its dual against Fargo North. Marler and Ostlie each swept their two individual events and two relays for the Blue Jays, who lost the dual 108-75, but won six of the 11 races overall. Freshman all-state swimmer Erin Hart has been named Jamestown High School’s MVP. Hart, who also was cited for the Most Outstanding Season, Hardest Worker and James Vondergeest Memorial Swimming & Diving, finished the season with 446.5 points to lead the team. Hart, Walsh named first team all-state
In first-team all-state qualifying time, Jamestown freshman Erin Hart captured third in the 100 backstroke finals during the high school girls’ swimming and diving state championships Saturday in Mandan. Hart set a personal best in the event during the prelims on Friday, when she completed the race with a time of 1:01.55. Blue Jays 10th at Fargo Invite
