Letter to the editor: Honor flight for veterans was a remarkable experience
In mid-April, I traveled with other North Dakota veterans to Washington to see the World War II Memorial on a trip sponsored by Roughrider Honor Flight. How can we ever thank those people enough who made this trip possible? All that volunteer work, all the time and effort it took by so many, trip after trip. It was so great to once again be with men we had so much in common with. Same age, same background, similar feelings of past experiences that we could only share with other veterans.By Ronald Brost , April 26, 2010
