Authorities say a man has been charged in a hit-and-run case that injured a Fargo woman riding her bike late last month.
Cass County officials said 39-year-old Troy Greenlund of Harwood is charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving serious personal injury. Assistant State’s Attorney Mark Boening said the felony charge carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
Cass County authorities are looking for the driver who fled in his or her car after striking a bicyclist near Harwood.
The sheriff’s department said 28-year-old Jennifer Walla of Fargo was biking in a residential area about 9:30 p.m. Saturday when she was struck from behind. The vehicle, which didn’t stop, veered into the oncoming lane and nearly forced a motorcycle off the road.
