North Dakota ranks the seventh highest in the nation for child well-being, according to the “2009 Kids Count Data Book” and Stutsman County is following suit. “I would say basically that Stutsman County compares favorably to the state,” said Helen Danielson, North Dakota Kids Count network liaison. The Annie E. Casey Foundation’s “2009 Kids Count Data Book” provides a national and state-by-state look at the welfare of children.
