Search continues for Blahna

The search for Joshua Blahna, a missing Kensal, N.D., area man, continued Monday and again nothing was found, said Mike Tufte, Foster County sheriff. Blahna went missing between April 25 and 26. His car was found near his mother’s house about 10 miles northwest of Kensal. Tracks from the car led investigators to a shoe in the James River that his mother later identified as belong to Blahna.

Blahna not found The search for a missing Kensal man continued over the weekend in Foster County with no results, said Mike Tufte, Foster County sheriff. Joshua Blahna, 26, went missing on or about the late hours of April 25 or the early hours of April 26. His car was found near his mother’s house about 10 miles northwest of Kensal. Missing man: Nothing found in searches of James River near Kensal Community members gathered near a bridge over the James River Thursday with tears in their eyes after more than seven hours of dragging the bottom of the river turned up no trace of a missing Kensal area man. Josh Blahna, 26, has been missing since Sunday. Footsteps from his parked car led investigators to a shoe his mother later identified as her son’s, said Mike Tufte, Foster County sheriff.

Police: Reports of missing Surrey child are untrue

The Minot police department says reports of an Amber Alert for a missing child in Surrey are a hoax. A statement released by police late Friday said authorities have received several calls concerning Facebook postings and text messages about a missing child. Police said there’s no missing child in the area.
