Fiddle Festival is scheduled Saturday

The Society for the Preservation of the Former Governors’ Mansion will be holding the sixth annual Arthur A. Link Fiddle Festival at noon Feb. 2 at the Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site in Bismarck. Violin students from across North Dakota are invited to participate. The festival is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

JHS group performs at NSU festival

The format for the festival was changed this year to be a workshop rather than a competitive event. The Blue Jazz and Show Choir worked with Wendy Van Gent from Northern State University, Aberdeen, S.D. Students had the opportunity to listen to other vocal jazz groups and a jazz concert in the evening featuring the NSU Jazz Band and guest artists.
