A power outage early Thursday morning was unrelated to the power outage Wednesday.
The Thursday power outage was caused by a driver that hit a pole around 2 a.m., said Ritchie Wolf, area engineer for Ottertail Power Company.
Wednesday’s power outage was caused by a tree that grew into a power line north of town.
Lightening and wind caused power outages in northwest Jamestown from approximately 10:20 to 11:20 p.m. Tuesday, according to Otter Tail Power Co. Otter Tail repaired several minor problems, like fuses, but no power lines were down.
