Where to start? We have all sorts of issues with Bob Stenehjem’s 10-day “economic development” trip to India, and we doubt we’re the only ones. First, the trip kept Stenehjem, R-Bismarck, away from his duties at the state Legislature, where he is the Senate Republican majority leader. That alone is a problem. Boechler: AG not compliant with law
Democratic-NPL candidate Jeanette Boechler said Wednesday that Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem “falsely claimed” North Dakota was, for the most part, complying with a 2006 law that set national standards for sex offender registration. A Colorado energy company has been barred from doing business in North Dakota. Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem has issued a cease and desist order against Bakken Exploration LLC of Brighton, Colo., and its operators. A spokesman for the company, Timothy Kelly, declined comment.March 24, 2010
