A woman is charged with manslaughter in the death of a 3-month-old boy in her care.
Larena Doll, 30, of Bis-marck, was charged Thursday in the death of a Kingston Kuntz of Mandan. Authorities say the boy died of a blunt head injury last April.
Bail has been set at $10,000 for a teenager facing a manslaughter charge in the death of her infant daughter.
Stevie Buckley appeared in court Monday. Authorities allege she recklessly caused the death of her 6-month-old daughter. The child is identified as “K.D.” in court documents.
A prosecutor says the 6-month-old daughter of a Bismarck college student charged with child abuse and neglect has died.
Burleigh County State’s Attorney Richard Riha said the child died Wednesday morning. He says no decision has been made on any additional or new charges against the mother.
A just-born baby girl in a cardboard box was left at the fire station on North Columbia Road near UND a few minutes before daybreak Saturday morning. She’s doing fine, and police are searching for the mother and the man who apparently left her there, police Lt. Jim Remer said.

A girl born on Jan. 2 marked the first baby born in 2009 at Jamestown Hospital.
“We’re just excited that she’s finally here,” said her mother, Kristin Hoff.
Madilyn Rose Hoff was born at 7:43 a.m. weighing 7 pounds, 13 ounces, and measuring 20.5 inches. She has blue eyes like her two sisters, but dark hair compared to their blonde. Both mom and baby are healthy, Kristin said.
The hospital in the southwestern North Dakota town of Hettinger has reached a milestone — 13,000 babies born in its history.
Madison Taylor Reye was born to Stefanie and Todd Dauwen of Lemmon, S.D., on Monday at West River Health Services. For being the 13,000th baby she’ll get a $1,300 bank CD.
