The Pingree Heritage Association is sponsoring a Valentine spaghetti dinner and silent auction fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Pingree Community Center. Spaghetti, coleslaw, garlic toast, beverage and ice cream are on the menu.

Afterschool program sale set

Next week the public will have the opportunity to buy handmade items to benefit residents at Rock of Ages. Close to 180 K-5 students in the 21st Century Afterschool Program have been making jewelry, purses, magnets, school supplies and more. The money raised during the four-day sale will go to purchase and deliver flowers to each resident at Rock of Ages.

Realtors donate to four organizations

The Jamestown Board of Realtors held its annual Charity Christmas Auction in December with four local charities selected to receive a donation on behalf of local board. The board donated $830 to each. Receiving the funds were the Salvation Army, Safe Shelter, James River Senior Center and Buffalo Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross.

Clowns raising funds

The motorcycle will be raffled away by the Jamestown Clowns on June 22. Tickets are $20 and available through any Jamestown Clown. A protion of the proceeds will benefit Shriners Children’s Hospitals.

JCF awards grant

Submitted photo The Jamestown Community Foundation recently awarded a $2,000 grant for the expansion of the Daily Bread Program currently operating out of Ave Maria Village in Jamestown. The grant will pay for additional freezers to allow other organizations to participate in the program, which is being modeled after the Daily Bread program in Fargo. United Way campaign draws to end this month
