Tressler graduates from university

Emma Tressler, a native of Jamestown, participated in St. Catherine University’s winter commencement ceremony held Dec. 17 in St. Paul, Minn. Tressler was awarded a Bachelor of Science de-gree in elementary education. She is the daughter of David and Bonnie Tressler, Jamestown. Tressler is a 2005 graduate of Jamestown High School.

55 graduate from VCSU in December Valley City (N.D.) State University has held 117 commencement exercises in the past, generally recognizing students who graduated over the previous three semesters. But on Dec. 15, the university began a new tradition by holding a luncheon to honor the graduates of fall semester.

Guard holds graduation ceremony
