Medina Lions Club members learned at their Feb. 15 meeting that they collected the highest amount among Lions Clubs in the region for Haitian relief. The club collected the funds through community posters and a collection site at Northland Financial in Medina. A Haiti benefit dinner is planned from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Medina (N.D.) Public School. Tickets are $5 for anyone from seventh grade to adults, $3.50 for sixth graders to kindergarteners and free for anyone younger.
