Six seniors lead JC into national tournament
You don’t need to spend too much time around the Jamestown College women’s basketball team to realize what makes them good.
Obviously, to go 25-6 and earn a No. 2 seed for the NAIA national tournament indicates there is some talent there, but it goes deeper than that.

He isn’t going to have a lot of plays run for him and he isn’t the guy other teams target.
But every successful basketball team has somebody like him; ones that do the dirty work and whatever else is needed to help their team win.

Jimmie standout Michel earns All-America honors
Jamestown College senior standout Joseph Michel closed out his wrestling career by earning All-American honors.
Michel, who entered the NAIA national meet as the No. 2 seed, finished eighth overall, going 4-3 at the NAIA national meet in Oklahoma City. Michel truly earned his award, after suffering a torn ACL in his knee in his second match on Thursday. He came back to win four straight, before losing a tight 6-5 decision to Josh Rogers of Briar Cliff in the seventh-place match.

Jimmies win first DAC tourney title
For the first time ever, the Jamestown women finished on top of the Dakota Athletic Conference, but it didn’t come easy.
The Jimmies battled back and forth all night with the No. 4-ranked Black Hills State Yellow Jackets, but after 20 lead changes, Jamestown was able to escape with a 65-64 victory.
