Wind farm ordinance to be considered
A proposed wind farm ordinance for Stutsman County took another step toward reality Tuesday when the Stutsman County Planning and Zoning Committee held a hearing on the proposed rules. County approves tax exemption for fertilizer facility
The Stutsman County Commission on Thursday approved a five-year tax exemption for a planned bulk dry fertilizer facility planned by Gavilon Grain. The facility is to be located with Gavilon’s grain elevator commonly known as Peavey West in James-town. The Stutsman County Commission heard a presentation regarding participation in the National Flood Insurance Program during a special meeting Thursday. County to consider disaster declaration
The Stutsman County Commission decided Tuesday to consider a disaster declaration next month due to the difficulties of removing snow on county roads.
