Supreme Court decides that Stutsman County has greatest need for another judge
The North Dakota Supreme Court has opted to chamber a judge in Jamestown for the Southeast Judicial District who should be on board by the end of the year. The North Dakota Legislature in the last session authorized another judge for the district as well as one for the Northwest Judicial District. The Supreme Court looked at where a judge was most needed to handle the caseload in the 11-county district.
