Ducks rally for 2-1 win over Minnesota

Luca Sbisa scored the winning goal with 3:04 left in the third period, Jonas Hiller made 30 saves, and the Anaheim Ducks rallied for a 2-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night. Patrick Maroon also scored for the Ducks, who have won four straight and gotten points in eight consecutive games.

Select Choice wins state

Submitted photo The Jamestown-Valley City Prowl Bantam Choice won the state tournament last weekend in Hazen. The Prowl defeated the Dickinson Outlaws 7-2 on Friday before taking down West Fargo 6-2 in the semifinals on Saturday. In Sunday’s championship the Prowl skated past the Grand Forks Riverkings 5-2. Alex Gums and Seth Lind each received awards for recording hat tricks in the tournament.
